Dr. Vatroslav Bubalo, specialist prosthodontist, gained over 25 years of clinical experience at the Clinical Hospital Dubrava in Zagreb, where he began his specialization and successfully passed the specialist exam in 2000.

The Clinical Institute of Dental Prosthetics, together with the Clinic for Maxillofacial Surgery, defined the breadth of dental prosthodontics, alongside everyday prosthetic devices such as complete or partial dentures, crowns or bridges, a distinguishing specialty is the production of resection prostheses.

Education and Research

Postgraduate studies in dental prosthetics began in 1995 with research work at the Ruđer Bošković Institute, successfully concluded with the defense of his master's thesis on May 30, 2000.

His dissertation is the result of years of experimental research into materials for the production of prosthetic devices, which he defended on June 30, 2010.

He is the author of approximately twenty scientific and professional papers, some of which were published in CC journals. He has actively participated in numerous international congresses and professional gatherings at home and abroad.

The most demanding cases of prosthetic rehabilitation, consequences of trauma caused by traffic accidents, war injuries, and post-operative procedures, are precisely the specialty and challenge that confirms years of specialist practice.

Memberships and Collaboration

He speaks English and German, and has a working knowledge of Italian. He is a member of several domestic and international associations: the Croatian Medical Association (HLZ), the Croatian Dental Society of HLZ, the Society for Dental Prosthetics of HLZ, and the European Prosthodontic Association (EPA).

The specialist practice of Dr. Vatroslav Bubalo collaborates with an oral surgeon (full professor) and a specialist in periodontology and dental pathology, to ensure optimal preparation for prosthetic rehabilitation.
